Car Free Ginza

Ginza at night is always bustling, reminiscent of Bukit Bintang, where hundreds, if not thousands, of people fill the streets. As a popular shopping district, Ginza attracts countless tourists. During my recent trip to Tokyo, I experienced their car-free day—a unique twist compared to KL, where it’s held on Sunday mornings. In Ginza, the streets close on Sunday afternoons, creating a lively atmosphere. I enjoyed the freedom to explore multiple shops without traffic, especially since it aligned perfectly with my last-minute shopping spree before heading home. While I’m not a big shopper, it was fun to browse and indulge a little.
