The Maeklong Railway Market is located about an hour’s drive from Bangkok and is known for its unique setup. The market is situated on a railway track, and vendors have set up their shops right next to the train line. When the train arrives, the vendors have to quickly pack up their goods and move their stalls away from the track to make way for the passing train. It’s a remarkable sight to see, and I highly recommend visiting the market if you’re ever in Bangkok.
While at the Maeklong Railway Market, I stumbled upon an old woman with full grey hair. She was leaning on her green three-wheeled motorcycle, which she used to transport things to sell at the market. The motorcycle was parked by the roadside, and she seemed to be taking a break from the day’s activities. She noticed me and looked straight at me, but I wasn’t sure why. Perhaps she was curious about the camera I was holding or wanted to know more about me.
