There is a always a track captain, or at least that is what I call it. In every station and every track of the Tokyo Metro. They will make sure people are in the train before the train moves. What interesting is that 99.999% of the time, the train moves on time despite people rushing to be packed like a sardine into the train during peak hours. I would say the same if it was Malaysia.
