Following has been done:
- Decide WHERE to go
- Decide WHEN to go
- Get leave APPROVED
Next, I need to do the following:
- Book my flight at www.airasia.com
- Book my room..
- Make sure i finish my work on time – so that i can go on leave peacefully!
Why Saigon?
It does not really matter where I go, I just want to start planning to go on holiday every 2 months or so. It can be a 3 days 2 nights, or 4 days 3 nights or even 1 week – most importantly, I need to start discover the world (obviously if my financial permit it).
If I was to look back, and analyze the places I have been to – I have not really travelled much. In fact, I only start to travel in 2005 – via Crossing Bridges 3 in Hanoi. Between me graduating and that trip, I have not really had much holiday! Guess – my life revolves to much around my work (still is actually).
Starting from next year, I want to try to make sure I make a short trip every quarter! If possible, I want to go for holiday every 2 months. Short holidays like 4 days 3 nights can be done over the weekend. In fact some places – I can even do 3 days 2 nights.
What next after Saigon?
Following are some of the places that I want to go next year!
- Luang Prabang – Laos
- Chiang Mai – Thailand
- London – UK :O
- Siem Reap – Cambodia (Again!)
- Phnom Penh
- India :O
So when’s the next holiday? Perhaps Chinese New Year 😀
