From what i read in wiki-wiki, there’s different types of Kavadhi (somehing like blessing) that the devotees will bring to Lord Murugan in their pilgrimage. It can be as complex the big one – steel structure covered with peacock feather, and loads of piercing to their body to the simplest of the version – just goats milk.
