First to be in the gym. It’s 5.50am. Much later than what I planned. Sigh. Shorter time to workout. Gotta finish by 7.15am as I need to be in KL by 9 for a breakfast meeting.
Run for 30 mins on the couch to 10K program. I know I have ran marathon but after a long hiatus of running, I have gone dormant. Shit man. On week 1 of 14 weeks.
Today is leg day. Started with leg press. Light weights as I am scaling down training due to my back injury. It’s ok but I don’t want to kill it. Though I feel ok, I just want to be sure and not pushing it. First workout is leg press!
Don’t feel any shakiness in the muscle nor back pain. I know I am not doing hard weights as I don’t feel tired. Trying very hard to slow down the motion to have more feeling ! Next is lunges. The kettle bell may look big but it’s light at 12kg is!
Next is hamstring pull machine. Some people call it seated curl, or at least that’s what the machine says in Anytime Fitness. Burn burn burn. I really hate hamstring. Core of all pain!
After the comes the easy part which is the calf. Aaaaa…
After this is a simple single leg press, 15x per leg. No video or photo. Last would be a set of core exercises to end the day. Oh man. I seriously need to push the tempo!
That’s it for today. Need to push hard! Now – as the scientist said, good body is made in kitchen and not in the gym. Hahahhahahahahahq
