Finally I have gotten back my RT. It’s great to have my bike back. The scooter really not up to mark. So this morning I decided to do a long ride. It has been a really long time since I did a long ride. Today – the route I took was approximately 470km!
The route as follows:
Damansara Perdana – BHP Karak – Bentong – Lemang Tok Ki – Koyan – Benta – Damak – Jerantut – Temerloh – Damansara Perdana
Really long route. And the best part, I did it alone. I didn’t have any plans – I just woke up, 6.30am I left my place, and just follow the road as it follows me! I initially wanted to leave earlier but the sunrise is approximately about 7am, thus worthwhile if I leave a bit later.
Left home about 6.30am – went to fill up air into the tires. Making sure it’s 2.5 (front) 2.9(rear). And filled up the fuel completely to the brink! Had to do a quick stop because I wanted to make sure that I have this photo 🙂
Second stop of the day is of course BHP Gombak, right after the toll. You never know, I might bump into people who I know. My plan could just change just like that. I bumped into a bunch of Sym owners who’s making a trip to Kuantan. Friendly bunch I must say.
Next stop after BHP is Lemang Tok Ki. Had to come here. Initially I wanted to have breakfast, but I decided not to as the tummy is not yet hungry. Had teh suam, and then I am set for my next destination. In my solo rides, I always stop every 80km or so. This is to make sure I don’t feel so tired.
Next stop is Mobil at Sg Koyan. It’s approximately about 80km from Lemang Tok Ki. I also took the opportunity to clean up my visor. Since I left so early, there were a lot of bugs that got smashed by my visor!
From Koyan, I rode to Benta. This is somewhere in between Koyan and Benta. See the roads! You can’t go wrong. The road after Benta I must say is fantabulous. There’s quite a lot of gravel though, thus I took my own sweet time so that I won’t slide. In fact, I am not sure whether I should or shouldn’t ride on gravel. I guess not la.
Next stop after Benta is Damak. Again – after 80km, I did a quick stop to have Nescafe ais and watching the world pass by!
After Damak, I rode pass Jerantut and straight to Temerloh. Did a quick stop as I already rode about 320km. Really need to stretch. 80km rule really works well.
Last stop – is Temerloh for quick lunch. Yes I finished that Patin all by myself. Amazing. It’s damn good. Pak Usop Ikan Patin. After Temerloh, I rode back thru ECE. Made a quick stop at Petronas Bentong to refuel, and then got going straight to Gombak toll. Made a quick stop before I head home.
That’s it for today. Tomorrow I am planning to ride to Kemaman.
